Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Master of Puppets when you use it. They are short on purpose; the privacy notice covers your data.
1. Who runs it
Master of Puppets is run by Vincent Berthelemy (v0lt), France, [legal form, SIRET and address to complete]. Contact: [contact e-mail to complete].
2. The service
Master of Puppets shows the Claude Code sessions running on your computers, tells you when one waits on you, and lets you answer it from your phone. It is a closed service: you can use it only after an invitation, by signing in with your GitHub account. During the private beta, features may change, appear or go away, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance.
3. Price and payment
Master of Puppets is a paid subscription, billed monthly at the price shown before you subscribe, taxes included. [Private beta price and billing provider to complete.] You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid, and that month is not refunded unless the law requires it.
The service is meant for professional use. [If consumers may subscribe: the 14-day withdrawal right of the French Consumer Code and the name of the consumer mediator go here.]
4. Your part
- Use it lawfully, and only for computers and repositories you are allowed to monitor.
- Keep your machine tokens to yourself. Anyone holding one can report sessions into your account; you can revoke a token on Connect at any time.
- You stay responsible for what your agents do. Answering a permission prompt from your phone has the same effect as answering it in the terminal.
- Do not try to reach another account’s data, or to overload or break the service.
5. Your data
Your data stays yours. You give the operator the right to store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy notice describes. You can download all of it, or delete your account and all of it, from the Your data page at any time.
6. Availability and liability
The service is provided as it is, with care but without a guaranteed uptime. An alert can arrive late or not at all (a push service or Telegram may be down), so do not rely on it alone for anything critical.
As far as the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect losses (lost profit, lost data on your computers, work an agent did or did not do), and its total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything the law does not let be limited.
7. Suspension and ending
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. The operator may suspend or revoke an account that breaks these terms, after a warning unless the breach is serious or urgent, and may end the service with at least 30 days’ notice, leaving you time to download your data.
8. Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, you are told in the app at least 30 days before. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms; otherwise you can delete your account.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Write to the contact above first; most things are settled that way. Otherwise the courts of [city to complete] have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court.
Draft awaiting review by Vincent Berthelemy. Not in force yet.
